Dear Friends:

How would you like to increase your sales force by 20 people? What if you were to receive qualified business leads on a weekly basis? What if you could increase your income and in turn help others in the same manner they have helped you? Chances are you are wondering how you can do this?

The Chester County East Chapter of LeTip is a professional networking group with the sole purpose of exchanging qualified business leads (called TIPS). We cordially invite you to attend a meeting and receive a free breakfast any Tuesday morning @ 7am to find out more information about this fantastic group. We meet at J&J Catering, located on Springdale Road (off Business Rt. 30) in Exton, PA.

At minimum you will be allowed to share a bit about your business with the group as well as pass out your business cards to everyone in the group – and the breakfast is on us!

5 Common Mistakes
Salespeople Make

You can kill your chances for the sale if you stumble through your presentation. Here are 5 common mistakes to avoid.

1. Don't talk too much. Reps who monopolize the conversation are dead in the water. Aim to listen 80% of the time to make sure you learn buyer's real needs.

2. Don't skimp on the homework. Walk blind into a sale interview only if you want to waste your time. You need to know the prospects company's size, history, products, and challenges.

3. Don't trust your memory. A short pencil is always better than a long memory. So take notes with the prospects permission; tell them you don't want to miss anything.

4. Don't ramble. Give your presentation structure and focus and practice delivering it.

5. Don't forget to ask questions. Reps who don't ask questions lose credibility and their prospect's attention. Your questions keep them focused and encourage them to talk about their business.


Chester County’s Biggest Tipper Unmasked!

LeTip Chester County East has unmasked the biggest tipper in the area. Scott Darling, of RE/MAX Action Associates, has been recognized by the Chapter as the biggest tip generator. Scott has been a valuable member of LeTip since 1996 and works to promote business networking opportunities throughout Chester County. When asked about his dedication to the group and his ability to promote members of the group so effectively, he states that "he just likes to help people who need services and finds it easy to make those referrals to other LeTip members. Members of LeTip provide good quality services and it makes my job easier when I’m dealing with clients who may be new to the area and aren’t sure who to use for certain services, whether it be real estate related or not," Darling says.

As a successful realtor for over 13 years with REMAX, Scott prides himself on getting to know his clients and develop rapport.
