can kill your chances for the sale if you stumble through
your presentation. Here are 5 common mistakes to avoid.
1.
Don't talk too much. Reps who monopolize
the conversation are dead in the water. Aim to listen 80%
of the time to make sure you learn buyer's real needs.
2.
Don't skimp on the homework. Walk blind into
a sale interview only if you want to waste your time. You
need to know the prospects company's size, history, products,
and challenges.
3.
Don't trust your memory. A short pencil is
always better than a long memory. So take notes with the prospects
permission; tell them you don't want to miss anything.
4.
Don't ramble. Give your presentation structure and
focus and practice delivering it.
5.
Don't forget to ask questions. Reps who don't
ask questions lose credibility and their prospect's attention.
Your questions keep them focused and encourage them to talk
about their business.

LeTip
Chester County East has unmasked the biggest tipper in the
area. Scott Darling, of RE/MAX Action
Associates, has been recognized by the Chapter as
